Black executive Sprinter van in Napa Valley

Private wine tours & chauffeur service

The whole vehicle. Your route. One flat price.

Book out any vehicle in our fleet for the day and go wherever you like — Napa, Sonoma, the Silverado Trail, Calistoga, all of it. No shared seats, no fixed route, no meter running, and no minimum number of guests. One flat rate, 10am to 5pm.

8

Eight of you can book out the 14-seat Sprinter

You're buying the vehicle, not the seats. There's no minimum headcount and no filling it with strangers — if the date is open, it's yours, whether there are two of you or fourteen. One flat rate, agreed before you book.

Rates

About the convertible. It's the same open-top van that runs the Highway 29 shuttle, so it can only go out privately on a date with no shuttle scheduled. Ask us as early as you can and we'll tell you straight away whether your date is free.

Work out your number

What it costs each of you

The rate is for the vehicle, not per seat — so it doesn't change whether two of you ride or the van is full. Find your headcount below to see what it works out at per person, gratuity included.

8 guests$146.25

No minimum headcount. Eight friends can book out the 14-seat Sprinter and ride with six empty seats if that's what they want — the price is the same and the day is entirely theirs. You're paying for the vehicle and the driver, not for bums on seats.

Shorter bookings

Don't need the whole day? Book by the hour.

A dinner run, an afternoon at two wineries, a hotel transfer with a stop on the way — not every trip needs seven hours. Hourly bookings take the same vehicles and the same drivers, with a three-hour minimum. All rates include the 20% gratuity — and your total is capped at the flat day rate, so booking longer can never cost you more than booking the whole day.

Up to 4 guests
$120

Range Rover, per hour

$100 an hour plus 20% gratuity. Three-hour minimum, so $360 to start.

Up to 6 guests

$125 an hour plus 20% gratuity. Three-hour minimum, so $450 to start.

Up to 14 guests
$174

Either Sprinter, per hour

$145 an hour plus 20% gratuity. Three-hour minimum, so $522 to start.

You will never pay more than the day rate

The hourly clock stops at the flat day rate. The moment your hours would cost more than booking the whole day, we charge the day rate instead — and you keep the vehicle right through to 5pm. Add another winery. It's already paid for.

Booking lengthRange RoverSuburbanEither Sprinter
3 hours (minimum)$360$450$522
4 hours$480$600$696
5 hours$600$690 · capped$870
6 hours$630 · capped$690 · capped$1,044
Full day, 10–5$630$690$1,170

Once you hit the cap, the day is yours. Book the Suburban for five hours and you'll be charged $690 — the full-day rate — so you may as well keep it until 5pm and fit in another tasting. Same with the Range Rover at six hours. You are never penalised for staying out longer, and we would genuinely rather you got the extra winery in.

What the day rate covers

  • Your own vehicle and driver, 10am to 5pm
  • The customary 20% driver gratuity — already in the price
  • A route you choose — Napa, Sonoma, Calistoga, Silverado Trail
  • Unlimited stops within the day, at your pace
  • A born-and-raised Napa driver who knows the valley
  • Concierge help planning the route and timings
  • Room for every case you buy — we'll load them
  • The same rate year-round — no harvest or weekend surcharge
  • Hourly totals capped at the day rate — you can't overpay

What it doesn't

  • × Winery tastings — booked and paid for by you
  • × Lunch or restaurant bills
  • × Drinking on board — our vehicles are alcohol-free
  • × Hours past 5pm — $120, $150 or $174 an hour, gratuity included

Any vehicle, any open date

Every vehicle in the fleet can be booked out privately on any day it hasn't already been reserved — first come, first served. There's no minimum group size and no restriction on which vehicle you choose. Ask about your date and we'll tell you what's free.

We can book the wineries for you

Unlike the shared shuttle, a private day comes with real planning. Tell us the sort of day you want — big names or small family estates, a long lunch or four tastings, Cabernet or sparkling — and our concierge will build the itinerary and get the appointments. Growing up here comes with a phone full of the right numbers.

How it works

From inquiry to pickup

Tell us the date

Your date, your headcount, and roughly what you're hoping for. We'll confirm the right vehicle.

We build the day

Our concierge suggests wineries and timings, and can make the appointments for you.

Confirm and pay

Flat rate, agreed up front. No hourly surprises at the end of the day.

We collect you

Hotel, house or downtown Napa — wherever suits. Then the valley is yours until five.

What people book us for

A private day suits some occasions better

Birthdays & bachelorettes

The Sprinter at 14 is the cheapest way to keep a big group together all day, and nobody has to drive or split into cars.

Anniversaries & proposals

The Range Rover, a quiet route, and a driver who knows which tasting room has the view. Tell us what you're planning.

Corporate & client days

Executive transport with one point of contact and invoicing available. Impress the client, keep the day on schedule.

Wedding parties

Rehearsal-dinner runs, welcome-day tours, and getting the wedding party between venues without a convoy.

Off-route wineries

Anything the Highway 29 shuttle can't reach — Calistoga, the Silverado Trail, Sonoma, the mountain appellations.

First-time visitors

You don't know the valley and don't want to research it. Hand us the day and we'll build something good.

Booking terms

The bits worth knowing up front

No surprises at the end of the day, and no fine print you have to hunt for.

Running late

Overtime past 5pm

The day rate covers 10am to 5pm. Want to stay out longer? Charged by the hour, gratuity included, billed in full hours.

Securing your date
50%

Deposit at booking

Half the total holds your date and your vehicle. The balance is due seven days before, which is also the point your booking becomes non-refundable — so there's one deadline to remember, not two.

Cancellations
7 days

Cancel a week ahead

Cancel seven or more days before your date and you're refunded in full. Inside seven days the fare is non-refundable — by then we've turned away other work and your driver is scheduled. Your driver still receives their gratuity in that case — they held the day for you and turned other work down, so we pay them regardless.

Seasonality
Same

One rate, all year

No harvest surcharge, no peak-season pricing, no weekend premium. A Saturday in September costs exactly what a Tuesday in February costs. What you see on this page is what you pay, whenever you come.

Questions

Before you book

Is the price per person or for the vehicle?

For the vehicle. $630, $690 or $1,170 books out the whole thing for the day, however many of you are aboard up to the limit. Two people in the Suburban pay the same as six — which is why filling the seats brings the per-person cost down.

Do we have to fill the vehicle?

Not at all, and this is the part people often miss. There's no minimum headcount. If eight of you want the 14-seat Sprinter to yourselves and don't mind the empty seats, that's a perfectly normal booking — the rate doesn't change. You're buying the vehicle and the driver for the day.

Is gratuity included?

Yes. All our private rates include the customary 20% driver gratuity, and the price shown is what you pay — $630, $690 or $1,170. It applies to overtime hours too. Nothing further is expected at the end of the day, though no driver is going to turn down something extra for an exceptional one.

Can we book any vehicle on any date?

Any vehicle, any date it hasn't already been taken — first come, first served. We run a small fleet, so weekends and harvest go early. Tell us your date and we'll confirm straight away what's free.

Can we go outside Napa Valley?

Yes. Unlike the Highway 29 shuttle, a private day has no fixed route. Sonoma, Calistoga, the Silverado Trail, the mountain appellations — tell us where you want to go and we'll plan it.

Do you book the wineries?

We can. Our concierge will suggest wineries to suit what you like and make the appointments for you. You still pay the tasting fees directly, but you don't have to do the legwork.

Can we drink in the vehicle?

No — all our vehicles are alcohol-free, with no exceptions. Sealed bottles and cases you buy travel with us happily and we'll help you load them, but nothing is opened on board.

What if we want to stay out past 5pm?

Usually fine. Overtime is billed by the hour, gratuity included: $120 for the Range Rover, $150 for the Suburban, $174 for either Sprinter. Give your driver as much notice as you can on the day — they may have a commitment that evening.

Can we book for just a few hours?

Yes — hourly bookings start at three hours, in the same vehicles with the same drivers. $120 an hour for the Range Rover, $150 for the Suburban, $174 for either Sprinter, gratuity included.

And your total is capped at the day rate. Once your hours would cost more than booking the whole day, we simply charge the day rate and you keep the vehicle until 5pm. You can't accidentally overpay by booking hourly.

What happens if we want to add a stop and run long?

Within the day, nothing bad. Extra hours are charged at the hourly rate until you reach the flat day rate, and then they stop — the rest of the day to 5pm costs nothing more. Past 5pm is overtime at the same hourly rate. Adding a winery mid-afternoon is usually free, so just ask your driver.

Do you take a deposit?

Yes — 50% of the total holds your date and your vehicle, and the balance is charged seven days before. That second date is also when the booking becomes non-refundable, so there's only one deadline to keep track of.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel seven or more days ahead and you're refunded in full, deposit included. Inside seven days the fare is non-refundable. By that point we've turned down other bookings for your date and a driver has it in their diary — and we pay them their gratuity anyway, because they kept the day free and turned other work away. If something has genuinely gone wrong, call us.

Do prices go up during harvest or at weekends?

No. One rate all year — no harvest surcharge, no weekend premium, no holiday pricing. Harvest is the busiest and most beautiful time in the valley and we don't think you should be charged extra for wanting to see it.

How many wineries should we plan?

Three or four. A tasting is five or six pours, so four is already a full day, and groups who try for six spend the afternoon rushing. Eat a proper lunch and drink water between stops.

How far ahead should we book?

The sooner the better, particularly for weekends and through harvest. We run a small fleet, so a given Saturday goes quickly.
